general Information

Am I eligible for your services?

The Haven is a safe space for women, trans women, and non-binary/gender non-conforming people who were assigned female at birth. You must be at least 18 to qualify for the programs.

What programs do you offer and what’s the difference between them?

We have a residential program, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and an outpatient program. After doing an assessment, our intake team will help you determine which program is the best fit for you and your experience.

The residential program is the most focused approach to recovery. You will live full-time at our facility and will have a full schedule of activities, including group classes, individual therapy, 12-Step meetings, as well as exercise, arts and crafts, and recreation.

IOP provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient programs. The program includes 16-30 hours of weekly treatment services, including at least one hour of individual counselling, 12 hours of group counselling, and at least 3 hours of recovery-based classes. We have Recovery housing available so you can attend the program either with or without housing depending on your living situation.

With our outpatient program, each member has a unique schedule of individual and group therapy sessions catered to their needs. You will continue to live at home so you can meet personal commitments while receiving treatment.

How long are the programs?

The programs are from 30 to 90 days long. The length depends on your individual goals, needs, progress, and demonstrated benefit.
