referrals and funding

Any professional that is providing services to a member may contact our staff at (520) 623-4590 or through web inquiry or email message. An assessment team member will reach out as soon as possible to provide referral information and coordinate care.

The Haven accepts the following Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System plans:

    • Banner-University Family Care
    • Arizona Complete Health – Complete Care Plan (formerly Health Net Access)
    • United Healthcare Community Plan (Pima county only)
    • American Indian Health Program

In addition, The Haven receives referrals from Pretrial Services and Adult Probation.

Clients that prefer to pay for services directly may request The Haven’s list of service charges and an application for reduced fees.

SABG-funded substance abuse services

The federal Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG) provides for priority funding for women who are either pregnant and/or have dependent children, and are in need of treatment for substance use, and for men and women who use intravenously.  

Services provided with no copayments include 

  • Individual, group, and/or family counseling 
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) 
  • Residential treatment 
  • Transportation 
  • Child care  
  • Case management 
  • And more
