Our Facilities Manager Tom Deeby has been awarded a Ben’s Bell for his kindness.
Ben’s Bells it is a local non-profit organization dedicated to teaching about the positive impact that intentional kindness has on others and the community. Each week they give out a Ben’s Bell to an individual who is inspiring kindness in the community and makes the community a better place to live.
One of our contractors, Joe Physician, nominated Tom Deeby for this award. In his nomination letter Joe said that Tom is the kindest person he knows, and we could not agree more.
Here’s Joe’s full nomination letter.
Tom Deeby is head of maintenance at The Haven Tucson, a rehab facility for women that has been in Tucson for decades. This man is the best person I know. In all regards of his life, I've seen nothing but caring, compassion and a genuine need for him to help people. The staff at The Haven (I am just a subcontractor doing work for him and The Haven) do not have one bad thing to say about the man. He inspires me to be a better person. I don't know how else to let others know of this man who doesn't seem to have an agenda, he's not trying to get over on people. He just wants to do what he can to see OTHER people succeed. He is a blessing.
Joe Physician
Congratulations to Tom for inspiring all of us to be kinder!
