Choosing the right level of care is an important step in recovery. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a structured, evidence-based approach to substance use treatment while allowing individuals to maintain many of their daily responsibilities. At The Haven, our IOP is designed for women who need more support than traditional outpatient care but do not require 24/7 residential treatment.
What is included in The Haven’s Intensive Outpatient Program?
The Haven’s Intensive Outpatient Program for addiction recovery provides comprehensive treatment through individual therapy, trauma-processing groups facilitated by licensed clinicians, case management, peer support, and wrap-around services such as employment readiness, health and wellness, parenting classes, and housing assistance.
To support real-life responsibilities, we offer evening groups and virtual options. As a small specialty provider, we offer individualized care where you are known by your name, not your diagnosis.
Our entire clinic is trauma-informed, and we use evidence-based curricula throughout the program. For women who are clinically recommended, we also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing as part of trauma recovery.
Who is the IOP for
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is for women who want structured support for addiction recovery while managing daily responsibilities.
IOP may be a good fit for women who:
- Are motivated to work toward recovery and need more support than weekly outpatient care
- Are transitioning from detox or residential treatment and need continued structure
- Are pregnant, postpartum, or parenting and want treatment that supports family stability
- Are involved with courts, probation, or child welfare and need a treatment program that meets requirements
- Are managing co-occurring mental health or trauma-related concerns
- Need a flexible schedule with evening or virtual options
Start your recovery journey
If you or a loved one is seeking outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, our IOP may provide the right balance of structure and flexibility needed for recovery. Our team is here to help you understand your options and determine whether our Intensive Outpatient recovery program aligns with your needs.
