New chapter for The Haven

After more than 50 years of serving women in Southern Arizona, we will begin a new chapter.

Effective October 1, The Haven will join Intermountain Centers who will support and assist The Haven in continuing to deliver on our mission. The Haven will continue providing substance use disorder treatment for women, including pregnant and parenting women and Native and Indigenous women.

This acquisition creates a stronger foundation moving forward. The current behavioral health landscape is incredibly challenging, especially for small specialty providers like The Haven. By joining the Intermountain Centers family of organizations, we will have access to more resources and keep on serving women with substance use disorders, including pregnant and parenting women and Native and Indigenous women.

The Haven will continue operating under its name and familiar branding, so you will still recognize us by our iconic purple butterfly. The referral process will remain the same and you can reach our admissions team at assessment@thehaventucson.org or (520) 300-5243.

The Haven’s legacy belongs to everyone who has been part of it: the women who walked through our doors, the staff who helped them, the alumnae who carried their stories forward, and the donors and community partners who made our work possible.

Thank you for supporting us, especially during this summer. The generosity of this community, including the incredible $50,000 match from the Stonewall Foundation Fund held at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, gave The Haven time and stability to continue serving women and find a path forward.

Thank you for being a part of The Haven’s story and for believing in us.
