At The Haven, we allow children under the age of 5 to stay with their mothers because we know how important it is to keep families together. We are not financially compensated to provide room and board for children, we simply do it because it’s the right thing to do.
It costs us $250 a day to host a child at our residential treatment facility. This amount includes housing as well as any necessities like food, diapers, baby formula, clothing, as well as childcare enrollment fees and other expenses.
