The Haven gave me my life back. I left there not just sober, but healed—and full of hope.
The Haven has been awarded another 3-year accreditation from CARF International.
The Haven strives for excellence in both clinical services and administrative operations. The accreditation demonstrates The Haven’s commitment to improving the quality of our clients’ health and well-being.
CARF International is an independent accrediting body of behavioral health services. An accreditation demonstrates a provider’s commitment to effective services and client satisfaction. CARF-accredited service providers also demonstrate conformance to proven standards for business practices and are committed to continuous quality improvement.
According to the accreditation report, “The Haven delivers services in a welcoming, well-maintained, and safe environment. Leadership and staff members demonstrate a strong, mission-inspired, and heartfelt commitment to the clients. Board members are exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the organization and are meaningfully involved in its activities. Clients are benefitting from the organization’s services and supports.”
The accreditation is an ongoing process. We are committed to finding new ways that improve our performance, to being responsive to feedback, and to being accountable to the community and our stakeholders.

We are collecting 55 stories to commemorate our 55th anniversary. From mothers reunited with their children to women who found their voice and purpose again, each story is a testament to hope, healing, and resilience.
Vanessa is going on five years in her sobriety. She says The Haven was a huge part of her recovery, and she got so much out of the program.
The majority of The Haven’s members have endured significant trauma in their lives. We are now offering Somatic Experiencing to help women heal.
We’re excited to launch a rejuvenation campaign to enhance our physical treatment environment.
