Our Annual Report is out

We’re excited to announce The Haven’s 2022 Annual Report is out!

Dear Friends of The Haven,

I was thrilled to join The Haven in February 2022 as the new Executive Director. The Haven was founded 53 years ago to address the needs of women with substance use disorders. Our organization has grown a lot throughout the years, but our core mission has remained the same. We provide women professional and holistic services to help them recover from substance use and move towards their best mental health.

Last year, we were able to help 538 women and their families. When a woman is helped, we see the ripple effects throughout our community. If a woman regains custody of her children, becomes a better caregiver, and breaks the cycle of intergenerational trauma, that has an immense impact on her family and our community.

We are so proud of our clients like Chamaine whose dreams and ambition for life came back while she was going through our residential program. Now Chamaine has been over 300 days sober and has joined the U.S. Navy. Or Bridget who completed our Intensive Outpatient Program, gained back custody of her son, transitioned into her own housing, and completed training to become a Recovery Support Specialist here at The Haven. Now Bridget is helping other women through their journey towards recovery.

We believe in Recovery with Respect and that means seeing each client as an individual with her unique needs and dreams. Many of our clients have been through immense hardships and trauma, yet they are standing before us full of aspiration and ready to start their path to recovery. We are so grateful to have your support on this journey. Thanks to community members like you, we can help our clients heal, stay connected with their families, and create hope for their futures.

With sincere gratitude,

Aimee L. Graves

Executive Director
